About This Event
Ann Czaja, DipWSET and master chocolatier, is a displaced Virginian working diligently to return south. She’s honored to be the educator in residence (even though it’s a bit of a haul from home base) at DuCard. Sharing her passion for wine brings her great joy.
Together we will explore the wide world of rosé wines! Rosé is the herald of warm weather, a staple for summer suppers and sipping on a sandy beach. While this is true, we argue that Rosé is so much more than that. Join us to find out why. VWW members receive a discount, too. Use the code below.
Thanks to its trendy pink hue and reputation as a day drinking staple, Rosé has seen a surge in popularity in recent years. Although this pink wine has become the go-to summertime drink for social media influencers, it’s actually one of the oldest types of wines ever made. Rosé isn’t specific to any particular grape variety, it’s more like a genre. Colors and flavors vary. It can be bone-dry and crisp or fruity and sweet. Some can even age. Let’s take a deep dive into a wine that’s more complex than its reputation suggests.
The Cost is $75/person. VWW members use code VWW10 for a 10% discount on tickets!
