A Recipe For Murder
A Murder Mysteries Will Travel Production
Join us for an interactive evening of immersive theater! Professional actors lead the cast (you!) and room full of detectives (you!) through a twisted tale of intrigue. While everyone attending has the opportunity to play detective, some guests will be asked to volunteer to portray characters in this evening's mystery- who knows... the killer may be sitting right next to you!
A chef has recently won the coveted “Slice and Dice” cooking competition winning $100,000! At the press conference to showcase his newly released book of recipes he is poisoned! Was the murderer the 1st runner up who was jealous of the Chef’s success? Is a former business partner who was left having to manage their joint restaurant venture alone, seeking revenge? Was the ghost writer for the cookbook angry over not receiving credit for her contributions to the recipes? Which suspects are in this hot kettle of fish?!
This performance includes an Italian buffet dinner catered by Maggiano's Little Italy (menu to be posted here soon). Iced tea and water are included with dinner, an a la carte bar will be in the venue with beer, wine, and soft drinks for purchase before the performance and during the dinner section of the evening.
DATE: Friday February 13, 2026
- Arrivals and a la carte bar service begins at 7:15pm
- Dinner and Performance from 8:00pm – 10:00pm (approximately)
VENUE:
- McGuireWoods Gallery in Building W-16 at Workhouse Arts Center
- The venue will be set with tables for six persons. There is an option to purchase a full table which includes six tickets (see below). For parties of fewer than six persons, your host will assign seating at a shared table of six persons on arrival. The community aspect of the evening adds to the story and will be terrific fun for everyone.
TICKETING: (early bird pricing only through February 1- prices may rise closer to performance date)
- General Admission Single Ticket - $80 (includes dinner and show)
- Reserved Table for Six - $480 table (includes reserved table for six plus two bottles of wine for the table)
