Sylvia White, Leading the Leaders, LLC

Sylvia White is a Leadership Development Expert, author and speaker, committed to supporting organizations and individuals to create spaces of excellence for the leader in them to thrive. An engaging speaker, Sylvia uses her background as a teacher in the public and private school systems and directing a private child care facility to share wisdom with audiences. She has created signature presentations around the Importance of a ROCK Centered Leadership, Building Strong Foundations and Mentoring the Next Generation. Sylvia is most passionate about helping those with a desire to channel out-of-the box thinking to make a difference in their world. She believes the best tools, access to experienced mentors and the right opportunities will catapult dedicated leaders into greatness. As a Community Ambassador, Sylvia has served in various capacities to enrich the lives of under privileged youth. She has been a major contributor to community initiatives including the Mayor’s Youth Summit, Tia Brewer Footman All Star Leadership Camp and the Charleston County Human Services Summer Leadership Camp. To further support her local Charleston community, she is a qualified trainer at “The Center for Child Care Career Development” where she conducts workshops for child care owners, directors and providers. She has also had the privilege of sharing her expertise with the South Carolina Early Care Association (SCECA), Virginia Family Childcare Association (VAFCCA), Virginia Head Start Association, and McCormick Center for Childcare Leadership. Sylvia is a sought after talk radio guest and has appeared on as Low Country Live with Tessa Spencer, Live Talk with Lynette Green, Speaker Play Time is Over with Cheryl Woods, and 72 Hours of Power with the Evergreen Revenue Model. Sylvia has paved the way and is raising the standard for leaders across the United States and internationally.

Andrea Dotterer, Girl Boss Empire

Andrea Dotterer is a Social Media Coach and founder of Girl Boss Empire. She helps fellow Girl Bosses increase their online visibility authentically in order to grow their business and achieve the freedom they desire in life. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Psychology & Counseling from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. After graduating, she worked as a mental health counselor for adults with developmental disabilities. She then switched gears to become an administrative assistant at a software company. Following that she worked in customer service, inside sales, and marketing/communications. While she liked the money, she became burned out and disheartened by corporate America. She felt unappreciated, restricted and undervalued. Her dream was to one day leave that world and be her own boss. She did just that after she became a stay-at-home-mom in 2007. When her oldest son was 6 and her second turned 3 months old, (and there were no more kids coming! lol) she knew it was time to take that leap. In 2014, she partnered with a wellness company as a health and fitness coach. She enjoyed helping women become healthier and happier versions of themselves and was able to do something she loved while being home with her boys. This not only revitalized and fulfilled her, she discovered her love for social media and the desire to help other women entrepreneurs do the same. There is a lot of social media content out there full of gimmicks and cheap tricks used in order to get a sale. It has gotten to a point where people are afraid to like a post in fear they would be the victim of the sales pitch. She was one of those spammers. Like many, she was only doing what she was taught at the time but eventually found it got her nowhere. Over the years she learned a more genuine approach of having conversations, building relationships, and attracting the right tribe of people without resorting to spam. She understands the struggle of starting a business without confidence, or a clue, sitting at her kitchen table all the while juggling the physical, mental, and emotional demands of motherhood. By leveraging her experience and expertise she now works with women to show them how they can achieve their own dreams. She specializes in Personal Branding, Networking, and Attraction Marketing to help you develop an authentic social media presence, become an influencer in your niche, and empower you to become the confident and accomplished Girl Bosses you want and deserve to be! She’s a big foodie and avid martial artist who loves cats, palm trees, and horror movies. Originally from Massachusetts, she is now based in the Washington D.C. area where she lives with her husband and two sons.
