Join us every month for a new Create + Sip experience! Our afternoons of wine and fun offer more than just painting. Each Create + Sip is taught by one of Workhouse’s talented studio artists, so we play with lots of techniques, plus fiber, glass and clay. You’ll have a great time creating (and sipping), resulting in a unique piece of art made by you. Check our Events listings regularly to see what we’ll have next.

For our December Create + Sip, Workhouse artist Wendy Anderson will show you her techniques for painting outer space. Wendy's had many requests for this class -- now's your chance to learn her secrets for painting a celestial scene. She'll also provide some city skyline stencils if you'd like to add one to your painting (pictured: DC skyline). You'll be painting on an old record album to give your work that awesome planetarium feel.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a special day and time from our usual Create + Sips. We also recommend bringing a hair dryer if you can -- it will help your painting dry quicker.

Skill level: Ages 10 and up

A glass of wine (or other beverage) is included. A cash bar will be available for additional beer, wine, soda or water.
