If you're a resident of the Cosmopolitan in Lorton, VA, join Workhouse Arts Center for a very special Create + Sip taught for Cosmopolitan residents by a Cosmopolitan resident. Workhouse instructor (and neighbor) David Vickers will show you how to use brush techniques and watercolors to create a beautiful painting of lavender.
This 3-hour class includes a free glass of French wine (in a nod to lavender!), beer, soda or water, with more available for purchase during the event.
Please feel free to join us early to take a walk around our campus -- our 7 buildings of art galleries will be open at noon (Workhouse closes at 5 p.m.).
Our Create + Sip classes are on a first come, first serve basis, so get your ticket soon -- this event frequently sells out.
And keep an eye on Workhouse's website -- www.workhousearts.org -- for our monthly Create + Sip events, held every second Saturday. Our afternoons of wine and fun offer more than just painting. Each Create + Sip is taught by one of Workhouse's talented studio artists, so we play with lots of techniques, plus fiber, glass and clay. You'll have a great time creating (and sipping), resulting in a unique piece of art made by you. Check our Events listings regularly to see what we'll have next.
