The PSO's opening concert of the 2019-2020 season features works by Beethoven and Brahms. Virtuosic piano soloist Thomas Pandolfi makes his triumphant return to the PSO stage performing Brahms's towering Piano Concerto No. 1. Also on the program is Beethoven's rarely performed Symphony No. 4, a masterwork sometimes overshadowed by the more prominent surrounding 3rd and 5th symphonies.
