Join us every month for a new Create + Sip experience! Our afternoons of wine and fun offer more than just painting. Each Create + Sip is taught by one of Workhouse's talented studio artists, so we play with lots of techniques, plus fiber, glass and clay. You'll have a great time creating (and sipping), resulting in a unique piece of art made by you. Check our Events listings regularly to see what we'll have next.
Explore the famous Japanese technique of indigo shibori dyeing for our October Create + Sip. Workhouse fiber artist Cheryl Neway will show you how to create unique designs by twisting, tying, and folding a cotton tote bag. Then you'll dip the bag in the luscious indigo dye vat and watch your piece transform!
The reusable bag folds up into a neat little pocket so it’s easy to take everywhere. Leave it in your car and use it for shopping, or add it to your accessories to dress up an outfit -- you'll be complimented on your one-of-a-kind tote bag.
