This 2-hour course informs humanitarians on basic emergency/disaster response procedures and provides information on international, national, and local resources. It also provides direction on how to coordinate efforts between different organizations, agencies, business and community groups.

2 hour class, a discussion on how to capitalize on your personal, organizational and community assets.

Most individuals entering these fields are mission focused, providing aid and support to those in times of hardship or distress. They work in emergency and disaster situations on a daily bases. Besides basic self-defense, there are many other basic fundamentals and resources these individuals should be aware of.

In emergency and disaster situations, humanitarian workers on the ground, in communities and homes have already took on leadership roles. These individuals have developed trust with those they serve.
