In this hour program we will cover all the requirements for your girls to earn the Brownie Dancer Badge. Girls will perform a proper dance warm up, learn about different styles of dance, try out different steps, and help choreograph their own routine to be performed for parents/leaders at the end of the program.

The program instructor, Melissa Pieja, has been dancing since she was a Brownie! She is both a dancer and a girl scout leader and will ensure all requirements are met to earn the badge. Melissa has a background in tap, jazz, and musical theatre and has performed in and served as choreographer for several musicals around the DC area.

Please come dressed in comfortable clothes you can move in. If you don't have a pair of dance shoes, socks are fine. Please also bring a water bottle.

Class size is limited to 25 girls so register early!
