Hoops Fest is a high-energy, fun-filled skills competition featuring the best high school basketball players from across Prince William County. Events are a three-point shootout, a boy/girl two-ball tournament, and a slam dunk competition with celebrity judges. Funds raised from ticket sales and donations go to support a local family in need.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Competition starts at 7.
This year's charity recipient is the family of Kevin
Herrmann, a U.S. Marine Corps pilot who died in a plane crash in December 2018 off
the coast of Japan. Kevin spent his first three years at Hylton High School before his dad
was transferred to North Carolina. Kevin's parents live in Stafford County.
Concessions will be available for purchase before and during the event, with credit-cards accepted. The first 200 attendees will receive a special promotional item courtesy of InsideNoVa and Battlefield Ford/Quick Lane Service.
